3M Hong Kong won the “Corporate Citizenship Logo” for three consecutive years and was honoured in the 8th Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards Presentation Ceremony held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Dec 15.

Organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council and co-organized by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, the Awards Presentation Ceremony is a highlight event of The Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program which aims at recognizing companies with outstanding achievements in implementing and promoting corporate citizenship responsibility. This year, 223 received “Corporate Citizenship Logo” for their outstanding CSR performance.

3M actively shoulders the corporate social responsibility by providing superior and professional products and services to the customers, taking good care of the employees and supporting the preservation of natural resources. We have been encouraging our employees to volunteer and lend a helping hand to those in need. Last year, we achieved a record-breaking result - over 60% of our staffs joined the volunteer works and contributed over 200 service hours. This Logo is an endorsement of our colleagues’ selfless deeds. In the future, we will continue to support our colleagues and other stakeholders in the community to implement one of 3M’s core value - Sustainability.
