For 8 years in a row, 3M has been supporting Orbis annual creative eye-care campaign among kindergartens in Hong Kong. The campaign aims at raising the pupils’ awareness by teaching them to take good care of their eye-sight and helping those who suffer from blindness.

This year, embracing the theme “Sight Saving Little Monkey”, children are invited to learn to safeguard their eyesight through games. They are also asked to create or beautify the “Sight Saving” Coin Box and raise fund from their families and friends to sponsor their efforts. 33 kindergartens and over 3000 pupils joined the program and a total of HK$ 280,000 was raised to help the visually-impaired around the world.

As one of the judges, 3M Hong Kong handpicked the Top 10 Coin Boxes by such criteria as friendliness to the environment, creativity, aesthetics, and parent-child interaction. The award presentation ceremony took place on 1st June 2016. Cynthia Lai, Manager of Corporate Marketing & Public Affairs presented the prizes to the winners and received the Thank You Certificate from Orbis on behalf of the company.
